While all are eagerly waiting for the release of biopic of Indian Boxer and Olympic Bronze medallist MC Mary Kom, IndiaGlitz looks back at the reel journey of the remarkable actress who plays the iconic real-life sports personality - Priyanka Chopra. From her first movie till Mary Kom', we take a recap of the notable performances of the diva so far...

After winning the Miss World title in 2000, Priyanka Chopra made her first screen debut with Tamil film Thamizhan' in 2002 opposite superstar Vijay. However, did you know she was actually going to step first into Bollywood with Humraaz'? Unfortunately it didn't work out... She made her debut in Hindi with The Hero: Love Story of a Spy' in 2003.

But PC, as she is popularly called, bagged another project from the Humraaz' makers, that is, Abbas-Mustan's thriller Aitraaz' (2004) - for which she was well acclaimed for her negative character.

Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion' (2008) is a milestone in Priyanka's career; even earning her a National Award.

With Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana', Priyanka won hearts as well as earned the tag Desi Girl'.

What's Your Rashee?' (2009) and Saath Khoon Maaf' (2011) - These two films brought out different shades in Priyanka. While What's Your Rashee?' had her playing 12 characters under zodiac signs, Saath Khoon Maaf' won her brownies for being dark and intense and playing different ages.

Mujse Shaadi Karoge?' (2004)', Bluffmaster' (2005), Don' series, Krrish' (2006), Kaminey' (2009), Agneepath' (2012), Gunday' (2014) - are some of the twinkling gems in Piggy Chops career.

Of Course the list will be incomplete with Barfi' (2012) where Priyanka played an autism girl. After Fashion', this Anurag Basu's movie has proved Priyanka to be best at her work.

Priyanka also went on to prove that she is not all Bollywood alone. She was a part of Disney's, Planes', where she rendered her voice for one of the toon characters. She turned out to an international singing diva with her single "In My City" followed by "Exotic".

Directed by Omung Kumar, Mary Kom' has Priyanka depicting the life of the boxing champion, her struggles, family and her perseverance to be the best. September 5th 2014 is a date waited upon by all to watch the actress portraying a real-life personality.
